Celebrating New Research on Driving Behavioral Change for Climate Impact

We’re excited to share that our partner, Gordon Kraft-Todd, has just had a new paper published by the World Resources Institute: The Effective Impact of Behavioral Shifts on Reducing Emissions.

This timely research dives into how everyday behavior changes—from reducing food waste to shifting transportation choices—can meaningfully cut greenhouse gas emissions. It also proposes a new, more nuanced framework for estimating the impact of behavior-based climate solutions.

Why does this matter? As we face intensifying climate threats, understanding the true potential of behavioral interventions is key. This paper lays out a path for governments, funders, and advocates to make smarter decisions about where to invest—and how to better communicate the power of collective action.

We’re proud to collaborate with partners who are shaping the future of climate strategy. Congratulations to Gordon and the whole WRI team!
